Russia Outs YPG/PKK Kurds Usual Dealin' With ISIS- Free Pass from Raqqa

Of course the Kurds deny the deal. And they are lying
They have made deal after deal with their symbiotic partners, ISIS, time and time again!
Of course, we can't forget that the US is giving ISIS a free pass also!

But Russia isn't!  SANA-
Moscow, SANA- At least 120 ISIS terrorists were killed in the Russian Aerospace Forces’ airstrikes on an ISIS queue of vehicles which was heading from Raqqa to Palmyra.
Russian Defense Ministry source said Saturday that the Russian aircrafts shelled last Thursday an ISIS convoy consisted of 39 pickup trucks loaded with weapons which were heading from Raqqa to Palmyra, destroying 32 small-size trucks equipped with heavy machineguns and killing more than 120 terrorists onboard.
The US was busily killing Syrian civilians rather then their proxy forces aka terrorists- Also par for the course

This quote from "The Drive" makes me laugh.. Not because it's funny as in humourous.
No because the claim of surprise is absurd- A means to obfuscate the obvious- The US has let ISIS pass time and time again. The US launches airstrikes to aid ISIS.

"If this large line of vehicles did indeed originate from al Raqqa, it is a bit surprising that they weren't identified and attacked by US-led coalition forces"
Actually it is NOT surprising the US allowed ISIS to pass

Kurdish News Source
The official spokesman of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) Nuri Mahmoud on Saturday denied reports quoting the Russian Ministry of Defense on a deal between the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and ISIS militants in Raqqa.
“The reports are baseless and blatant allegations aimed at discrediting our forces and undermining the gains of the revolution [against ISIS],” Mahmoud said.
The reports don't discredit. It's the fact of all the cooperation between the Kurds and ISIS that discredits the common narrative
A source in the Russian Ministry of Defense said on Saturday (May 27) that YPG/PKK Syrian Democratic Forces have reached an agreement under which ISIS fighters could be allowed a safe passage to leave Raqqa heading to Homs southern countryside
“The news issued on May 27, 2017 and attributed to the source of the Russian Ministry of Defense is untrue. These are deliberate allegations aimed at discrediting our troops that are combatting ISIS in Raqqa,” the YPG spokesman said.
The news issued May 27 is undoubtedly correct! Not because the Russians claimed it.
Rather because this is the common practice. The usual way PKK/YPG backed by the US/UK/Israel  "fights" ISIS backed by the US/UK/Israel

“We declare from the front lines that our fight with ISIS terrorists continues at the most intensified level and we perform the most vicious battles with mercenaries, as many local and international media who cover our battles against terrorism are witnessing this,” he said.
Of course the PKK/YPG declare their lies as truth.

What is reported about our forces is just to confuse the reality of our revolution and our fight against terrorism.
Actually I think the report clarifies the reality of what has been occurring, on the ground, in Iraq and Syria for years now.

Kurds allow ISIS to leave Tabqa

Kurds allow ISIS to leave Manbij

Quoting from Soufan regarding ISIS's propensity to walk away..
" As it has done elsewhere in Syria and Iraq, the Islamic State chose not to fight to the end in Dabiq"
They didn't fight to the end in Tabqa, Manbij, Mosul, Dabiq or Kobani- where ISIS just melted away as the Kurds/US advanced.

The Russian's are correctly stating the fact that undoubtedly and as usual the US backed PKK/YPG are allowing the US backed ISIS to walk away-

Egypt Launches Airstrikes Against Libya- Manchester Pretext?

The justification being the attack on the coptic Christians? But are the two really related?
Or is Egypt simply fulfilling it's NATO role, increasing attacks on Libya,  that looked nearly inevitable after the false flag in Manchester
"Interesting? So with ISIS taking responsibility do we now have a network connection that takes us back to Libya?"
Egypt launches airstrikes- hit's alleged training base?
Egyptian air force planes have carried out six strikes directed at camps near Derna in Libya where Cairo believes militants responsible for a deadly attack on Christians earlier in the day were trained, Egyptian military sources said on Friday.

The report came minutes after President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi had announced Egyptian forces struck jihadist camps but without saying where the strikes took place.
Earlier in the day, at least 28 Coptic Christians were killed and another 22 wounded when the bus they were traveling in was attacked by gunmen in central Egypt as they were heading to the monastery near the upper Nile city of Minya.

Local media also broadcast images of the bus riddled with machine gun fire. Security officials quoted witnesses as saying they saw eight to 10 attackers in military uniforms and masks. The bus was in a small convoy that was stopped on a desert road. A pick-up truck in the convoy carrying workmen to the monastery was also targeted.
" Security officials quoted witnesses as saying they saw eight to 10 attackers in military uniforms and masks"

The remote monastery of St. Samuel the Confessor in Maghagha, about 220 kilometers (140 miles) south of Cairo is only reachable by a short, unpaved route off the main highway.

Senseless act
In a message to the Egyptian president on Friday, Pope Francis said he was saddened by the barbaric attack and "of the tragic loss of life and injury caused by this senseless act of hatred."
President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi made an appeal to the US president in his televised address hours after the attack. "I direct my appeal to President Trump: I trust you, your word and your ability to make fighting global terror your primary task."
He also said his forces had struck bases where militants have been trained, but gave no details.
A manhunt is underway to find the attackers.
"I direct my appeal to President Trump: I trust you, your word and your ability to make fighting global terror your primary task."

Uh oh! There has been a coordinated sales pitch emanating out of the NATO meeting regarding the war against terror , so called. Coming hot on the heels of the Manchester hard sell

International condemnation
The United Nations Security Council condemned the killings in Egypt on Friday and reaffirmed "terrorism in all its forms and manifestations constitutes one of the most serious threats to international peace and security."
Lebanon's militant Hezbollah group also condemned the attack saying it was "a new crime added to the criminal record of a murderers' gang." In a statement released in Beirut, Hezbollah called for a "strong and frank stance in the face of terrorism that takes religion as a cover."
In Berlin, Foreign ministry spokesman Martin Schaefer said Germany "condemns in the strongest possible terms these kinds of attacks on believers" and grieves with the victims and their relatives. He said Germany would cooperate with Egypt "to ensure that things like this don't happen again in future."
IS vows to step up strikes following pope visit
The killings comes less than a month after Pope Francis visited Egypt to call for inter-religious tolerance amid an upsurge in Islamist militant attacks against Christians. Egypt has the largest Christian community in the region, accounting for about 10 percent of the population.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack but so-called "Islamic State" (IS) suicide bombers have carried out similar attacks. Following Pope Francis' visit, an affiliate of IS in Egypt vowed it would carry out further attacks on Egyptian Christians.
Egypt's main religious authority, Al-Azhar, condemned the shooting. In a statement, Al-Azhar's Grand Imam, Ahmed al-Taye, said: "The Minya incident is unacceptable to Muslims and Christians and it targets Egypt's stability."
Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah el-Sissi called for a meeting with top security aides to discuss the incident.
Interesting ISIS didn't claim responsibility

Manchester: Blowback as CIA Obfuscation

 Rant time!

Is the Manchester bombing really "blowback"?

I've long had issues with the common presentation of blowback.   Writing about this for the first time in 2014. Following up again in 2016. And, here we are again!

The term blowback ORIGINATED with the CIA.

Blowback
"Blowback” is a CIA term first used in March 1954 in a recently declassified report on the 1953 operation to overthrow the government of Mohammed Mossadegh in Iran"
It is claimed that "blowback" is a metaphor for the alleged unintended consequences of the US government’s international activities that have been kept secret from the American people.

This term blowback can of course be applied to the alleged unintended consequences of any intelligence agencies covert activities

The fact that it was the CIA that created this term for what they claim are 'unintended consequences" is a huge red flag.

How do we know the consequences were unintended?

Because the CIA tells us so? Should we take the CIA at it's word?
Are they known for their honesty? Or their deception?

When considering blowback, as an alleged unintended consequence, we have to consider the real possibility, in fact the likelihood, that the term was coined as a deception.

It's quite interesting to observe that the concept of "blowback" and the creation of NATO stay behind operations/covert ops aka Gladio sometime after WW2 very nearly run in sync with each other. As does the very creation of the CIA itself,  after WW2(in cahoots with MI6)

1- WW2 ends
2- CIA created
3- CIA/MI6:  Stay-behind armies
4- CIA coined term "blowback", made public in 1953, most probably as an obfuscation for intelligence agency covert irregular ops.

As  explained twice previously the term blowback is circular reasoning-

Both literally and figuratively speaking. I expect that was why the term was created. It was intended as a type of circular reasoning- to explain away an actual occurrence. And as a metaphor. A figure of speech.  Blowback.

2014: The logical fallacy of “blowback” Intoxication with the blowback mind virus

Blowback, as commonly touted by the lying war mongering media, is always presented in this fashion: unforseen consequences from previous actions  Emphasis always on the “unforseen” Unforseen- defined as not anticipated or predicted.

Is it sensible that the Manchester incident could not have been foreseen or anticipated?
It is not. Because it has plenty of precedents.

Blowback very often walks hand in hand with incompetence.

If we as individuals undertake behaviours repeatedly that cause harm, can we claim blowback as the excuse? Obviously not! So why do we not only believe but continue to make excuses for those we allow to lead? When are we going to hold the 'leaders' accountable? Why do we continue to excuse their abuses?

2016: Blowback: Begging the Question/Petitio Principii and Circular Reasoning

Blowback is a logical fallacy. Blowback assumes the conclusion in it's premise.
It's a closed loop which shuts down any questioning.

The claim of blowback should be employed judiciously and looked upon much more critically as an answer to the why of some thing happening. Guess that explains why I stay away from blowback as a routine fall back response!

Google & Surveillance Capitalism: Tracking Off Line Purchases

Google & Surveillance Capitalism: Tracking Off Line Purchases

Of course, you can count on Google to do nothing to protect your privacy, despite their claims.
Since, Google is breaching and exploiting your privacy by tracking your off line purchases and connecting them to your "on line profile"

Google’s new ability to match people’s offline credit card purchases to their online lives is a stunning display of surveillance capitalism in action.
The capability, which Google unveiled this week, allows the company to connect the dots between the ads that it shows its users and what they end up actually buying. This is a crucial link for Google’s business that, for all of the company’s inventiveness, remains a matter of attracting users to its predominantly free services, collecting user data, and leveraging that data to sell advertising. If Google can show that someone who saw an ad for a furniture store in Google Maps, say, then went and made a big purchase at that store, the store’s owner is much more likely to run more ads.
Of course, Google has been able to track your location using Google Maps for a long time. Since 2014, it has used that information to provide advertisers with information on how often people visit their stores. But store visits aren’t purchases, so, as Google said in a blog post on its new service for marketers, it has partnered with “third parties” that give them access to 70 percent of all credit and debit card purchases.
So, if you buy stuff with a card, there’s a less than one-in-three chance that Google doesn’t know about it.
_
_
Beyond that, us regular folks pretty much have to take it on faith that this system works. Given how few “anonymous” data points are required to identify an individual from credit card data, it’s hard to believe that linking people’s behavior on services as diverse as Gmail, YouTube, Google Maps, and others to offline buying habits couldn’t result in someone’s privacy being compromised, especially if it ever fell into the hands of hackers.

Of course the presentation of Education and Personalized Learning has nothing to do with reality of this type of "learning"

Personalized learning is more about altering your child's unique personal values at  neural levels and shape them to better produce conforming, compliant unthinking reactive adult- Creating irrationality.

Disgraceful.

iMinds: Total Technology and Human Evolution- Mari Swingle

 Interview via Legalise Freedom

While some of the unwanted side effects of technology are recognised and well-known, are we too quick to dismiss them as a temporary phase affecting a lonely minority?

The advocates of 21st Century technology themselves are quick to point to an array of benefits, many undeniable, but at what point does our second life take over our real life, social media become anti-social? In our headlong rush towards techno-utopia, are we inadvertently breeding a generation of alienated, dysfunctional loners paralysed by endless choice and lost in a fantasy world of gaming, pornography, and all manner of virtual reality? Delving into the dark side of this brave new world, we examine the dangers of technological addiction and abuse, the debilitating psychological and physical fallout, and the potential to affect even the evolutionary future of the human race itself.

I thought this an excellent interview. Must listen stuff. Much food for thought

Dr. Mari Swingle discusses her book i-Minds: How Cell Phones, Computers, Gaming, and Social Media are Changing Our Brains, Our Behaviour, and the Evolution of Our Species.

While I enjoy my blog and the ability to communicate with others via this resource- Sadly, the many negatives inherent in this type of technology are glaringly obvious. Not growing up with this technology gave me a much more real world basis for real life, that I find vastly more enjoyable
Virtual reality is NOT reality. It is little more then an extremely limiting cheap imitation of actual physical life on the planet.

The immersion in technology and the lack of real world experiences is how nonsense such as the 'conceptual penis' and 'gender studies' can be sold as reality. Being groomed for exploitation by the elite psychopaths doesn't have any appeal to me.
I will be putting up another interview today regarding how the education system manipulates the minds of youth, prepping them to believe harmful, destructive nonsense. Making them less then human. Prepping for the borg mind. Yup, that's how I see it.
Protect your kids, seriously.
I had to do it when our child was in  elementary school... From the crap being taught even then.
Retarded reading techniques and nonsensical mathematics.

UPDATE: Mari speaks in the interview about the Baby Einstein scam - Disney, of course!

Baby Einsteins: Not so smart after all, In fact dumber then other babies

In the latest study on the effects of popular videos such as the "Baby Einstein" and "Brainy Baby" series, researchers find that these products may be doing more harm than good. And they may actually delay language development in toddlers.
Led by Frederick Zimmerman and Dr. Dimitri Christakis, both at the University of Washington, the research team found that with every hour per day spent watching baby DVDs and videos, infants learned six to eight fewer new vocabulary words than babies who never watched the videos.
These products had the strongest detrimental effect on babies 8 to 16 months old, the age at which language skills are starting to form. "The more videos they watched, the fewer words they knew," says Christakis. "These babies scored about 10% lower on language skills than infants who had not watched these videos."
Screen time clearly has a dumbing down effect from the get go-

The Conceptual Penis as a Social Construct: A Sokal-Style Hoax on Gender Studies

Wednesday, May 24, 2017

The Conceptual Penis as a Social Construct: A Sokal-Style Hoax on Gender Studies

There is a big problem in what passes for science these days  That problem is no real, verifiable science and too much agenda. Scientism reigns supreme
  • excessive belief in the power of scientific knowledge and techniques.

    Hoaxing Gender Studies Journal
The scientism hoax will be posted at the very end for you to read entirely- I'll post some direct quotations from the scientific study also
That these individuals had this hoax published at all speaks to us of many problems with what passes as science these days.
1-Pay for play: Very, very common in science/medical journals etc., (I’ll address that with a bit more depth further down the post
2-Peer review: What’s the value of claiming peer review if...
 a) it’s not reviewed with a skeptical eye or not reviewed at all?
 b) it’s published based on agendas and the peer review label serves as a type of appeal to authority rather then anything truly legitimate?
c) a hoax can actually receive two glowing peer reviews

After reading through the many, many comments some points of interest stood out.

Some of commenters claimed, because the authors had paid for publishing, this took away from their success in outing the fakery & agenda inherent in far to much science, Gender science included- As in haha you spent money to get this published.  It was lost on these very critics that there is a problem when it’s as easy as paying a fee to be published- no legit science necessary. Profit trumps real, provable, factual, reproducible, observable science.

Others claim that since other scientific journals have been hoaxed this is not a negative on the  specific journal that published this specific hoax- Yikes, so hoaxes have been published in more then one peer reveiwed, pay to play or otherwise journal, obviously, and that’s not a bad thing, entirely? Suuuurreeeee...

Then there are the penis envy commenters... of course, there are the you feel threatened commenters? (not worth my time addressing ad hominem attacks)

The very problems these commenters down play regarding this hoax makes even more obvious the problem of gibberish/agenda being passed off as ‘science’. In a range of scientific fields, not limited to ‘gender studies’. Which is a social science aka society shaping/manipulating science.

The medical journals are full of ghost written pharmaceutical paid for ‘scientific studies’ I would say the AGW field is chock full of the same gibberish aka glossalalia as the ‘gender studies’ field, as the medical journals.. You will read the authors of the gender studies hoax actually blame the male sex organ for anthropogenic global warming!

Before we get to the gender science, pay for play hoax,  let’s talk about yet another AGW glossalia/science claim has bitten the dust.

The Great Lakes are going to dry up...

Being from the Great Lakes region this is one years ago we were informed of repeatedly

Dec 22/2009 “Climate change models suggest that temperatures will increase over the next century over the Great Lakes.
“ The truth is likely somewhere in between, with water levels falling between 0.23 meters and 2.5 meters.”
Temperatures haven't increased and water levels haven't fallen.
2012- “lake levels dropped to less than two inches (4 cm) above record lows”

Of course the claim is this is due to AGW and carbon “pollution” ( Carbon; The bedrock of all life on the planet) No explanation on what caused the previous record lows or when they occurred but lots of boogabooga.

The National Geographic article also claims the Great Lakes are at near ‘record high temperatures’ but fails to back up that claim- Recall in my previous post I mentioned the Great Lake temps are no longer reported on or publicly mentioned?? - Secret

Reality, because REAL SCIENCE is observable.

The Lakes are at near record or perhaps record high levels with flooding all over the place- And expected to stay there. Exactly opposite of what was claimed by the AGW scientists and their forecasting (crystal ball reading)

Lake levels high- Breitbart with external links outward- check the outward links and don't shoot the messenger. If that won’t do it for you I’ve more links in the comments, previous post linked above, regarding flooding all around Lake Ontario..

Toronto Islands flooded- Carp swimming in the baseball diamonds- Buildings threatened

If AGW science had ever gotten it right I would be writing here today about how much bigger Toronto’s Islands have grown- And how much more prime beach front suddenly came up for sale- But that’s not REALITY

Pay to play from medical to science journals

If a gender studies hoax can be published, payment or not, and glowingly reviewed what might this tell us about all so called peer reviewed science? AGW science? Medical science? Biology? Etc.,? I question the validity of the many scientific claims I've read over the years of having this blog- particularly when they've turned out to be so dam wrong!

Skeptic

Premise:
This paper should never have been published. Titled, “The Conceptual Penis as a Social Construct,” our paper “argues” that “The penis vis-à-vis maleness is an incoherent construct. We argue that the conceptual penis is better understood not as an anatomical organ but as a gender-performative, highly fluid social construct.” As if to prove philosopher David Hume’s claim that there is a deep gap between what is and what ought to be, our should-never-have-been-published paper was published in the open-access (meaning that articles are freely accessible and not behind a paywall), peer-reviewed journal Cogent Social Sciences. (In case the PDF is removed, we’ve archived it.)
Assuming the pen names “Jamie Lindsay” and “Peter Boyle,” and writing for the fictitious “Southeast Independent Social Research Group,” we wrote an absurd paper loosely composed in the style of post-structuralist discursive gender theory. The paper was ridiculous by intention, essentially arguing that penises shouldn’t be thought of as male genital organs but as damaging social constructions. We made no attempt to find out what “post-structuralist discursive gender theory” actually means. We assumed that if we were merely clear in our moral implications that maleness is intrinsically bad and that the penis is somehow at the root of it, we could get the paper published in a respectable journal.

Quotes from the paper:
Manspreading — a complaint levied against men for sitting with their legs spread wide — is akin to raping the empty space around him.

Consider some examples. Here’s a paragraph from the conclusion, which was held in high regard by both reviewers:
We conclude that penises are not best understood as the male sexual organ, or as a male reproductive organ, but instead as an enacted social construct that is both damaging and problematic for society and future generations. The conceptual penis presents significant problems for gender identity and reproductive identity within social and family dynamics, is exclusionary to disenfranchised communities based upon gender or reproductive identity, is an enduring source of abuse for women and other gender-marginalized groups and individuals, is the universal performative source of rape, and is the conceptual driver behind much of climate change.
You read that right. We argued that climate change is “conceptually” caused by penises. How do we defend that assertion? Like this:
Destructive, unsustainable hegemonically male approaches to pressing environmental policy and action are the predictable results of a raping of nature by a male-dominated mindset. This mindset is best captured by recognizing the role of [sic] the conceptual penis holds over masculine psychology. When it is applied to our natural environment, especially virgin environments that can be cheaply despoiled for their material resources and left dilapidated and diminished when our patriarchal approaches to economic gain have stolen their inherent worth, the extrapolation of the rape culture inherent in the conceptual penis becomes clear.
And like this, which we claim follows from the above by means of an algorithmically generated nonsense quotation from a fictitious paper, which we referenced and cited explicitly in the paper:
Toxic hypermasculinity derives its significance directly from the conceptual penis and applies itself to supporting neocapitalist materialism, which is a fundamental driver of climate change, especially in the rampant use of carbon-emitting fossil fuel technologies and careless domination of virgin natural environments. We need not delve deeply into criticisms of dialectic objectivism, or their relationships with masculine tropes like the conceptual penis to make effective criticism of (exclusionary) dialectic objectivism. All perspectives matter.
If you’re having trouble understanding what any of that means, there are two important points to consider. First, we don’t understand it either. Nobody does. This problem should have rendered it unpublishable in all peer-reviewed, academic journals. Second, these examples are remarkably lucid compared to much of the rest of the paper.

American Officials Leak Name of Manchester Suicide Bomber

UPDATES BELOW:

He's been identified by US officials. Son of Libyan immigrants who allegedly fled Gaddafi's regime.
If the bomber died in the blast wouldn't they need some forensics for proper identity?
Of course a deceased victim wouldn't necessarily be the bomber anyway..
How could the US have identified this person so quickly and publicly?
That put a bit of pressure on  Theresa May, no?

 Live Blog
More details are emerging about suicide bomber Salman Abedi.
Local reports said he was the child of Libyan refugees who fled to the UK to escape Colonel Muammar Gaddafi's regime, and was one of four children.
Theresa May previously said the bomber had been identified by security agencies, but that they were unable to name them at such an early stage of the investigation.
However, American officials appeared to have leaked Abedi's identity to media on the other side of the Atlantic.

Armed police raided the home of Manchester suicide bomber Salman Abedi, ordering residents indoors as they carried out a controlled explosion.
Elsmore Road, where 23-year-old Abedi was registered as living, became the centre of the investigation into Monday's outrage.
Neighbours in the red-bricked semi-detached street said they knew little about who was living at the home.
The man who blew himself up during an Ariana Grande concert at Manchester Arena has been named as 23-year-old Salman Abedi, US officials have said. Abedi killed 22 people, including children, and wounded 59 more shortly after Grande had finished her performance last night. Isis claimed responsibility for the attack. More follows
Two curiosities- The US names the perp and ISIS takes the responsibility

The Independent: Manchester Arena attacker identified: Police know who carried out suicide bombing, says Theresa May
Police have identified the Manchester Arena attacker but it is too early in the investigation to release his name, Theresa May has said.
“The police and security services believe they know the identity of the perpetrator but at this stage of their investigations we cannot confirm his name," the Prime Minister added.
“The police and emergency services have as always acted with great courage and on behalf of the country I want to express our gratitude to them - they acted in accordance with the plans they have in place and the exercises they conduct to test those plans and they performed with the utmost professionalism."

Police were urging members of the public not to speculate on the terrorist's identity as the investigation continued.
At least 22 people were killed and 59 more injured in the blast, which the foyer between Manchester Arena and Victoria station as thousands of people flooded out of an Ariana Grande concert on Monday night.
There has been no official claim of responsibility for the atrocity, but both Isis and al-Qaeda have been calling for attacks on the West and issued bomb-making guides.
Ian Hopkins, the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police, said investigators believe the attack was carried out by a lone suicide bomber “carrying” a homemade device.“The priority is to establish whether he was acting alone or as part of a network,” he added.
Interesting? So with ISIS taking responsibility do we now have a network connection that takes us back to Libya? Or  will this be the justification for stepping up military intervention in Syria/Iraq?

May 24/2017 It appears we have a direct link back to Libya

Globe & Mail

In Libya, authorities arrested Abedi’s father and a younger brother. The anti-terror force that took the brother, 18-year-old Hashim, into custody said the teenager had confessed that both he and his brother were a part of the Islamic State group and that Hashim Abedi had been aware of the details of the attack.
The father, Ramadan Abedi, denied his son’s involvement in an interview with The Associated Press earlier Wednesday, saying “We don’t believe in killing innocents.”

Manchester news from Ally!

Terror attack in my city. Shocked. What are your thoughts? Police making arrests near my house.

Manchester has the immigrant population in the UK after England, and is also the second largest city. Lots of immigrants and it generally known for being a very friendly city-little discrimination. In the EU referendum, the Manchester population overall voted to remain so this attack will definitely serve to create tension in one of the most immigrant-friendly cities in the UK. I am of that feeling too, Penny. They knew what the result was going to be before they held the referendum and would not have called for it if they thought the people would not vote the way they wanted them to.

And yes, someone arrested quite quickly. Friends reporting that there are police vans outside a shopping mall arresting a man. How'd they find him so quick?? For all I know, it is a false flag!
If Ally leaves any additional info I will post it here!

UPDATE #1:  UK Terror Threat Raised from High to Critical
The UK terror threat level has been raised from severe to the highest - critical - after the Manchester Arena bombing.
The move indicates that another attack is believed to be imminent.
Theresa May announced the threat level change, saying military personnel could be deployed to support armed police officers.
She said: "It is a possibility we cannot ignore that there is a wider group of individuals linked to this attack."

The  UK Born suicide bomber has ties to Didsbury Mosque

This Didsbury Mosque rings a bell....
The Manchester Arena suicide bomber had made trips to Libya, Downing Street said last night, as intelligence agencies combed his connections with al-Qaeda and Islamic State in his parents’ homeland.
Salman Abedi, 22, was born in Manchester
Abedi’s older brother Ismail had been a tutor at Didsbury mosque’s Koran school.
He had become radicalised recently - it is not entirely clear when - and had worshipped at a local mosque that has, in the past, been accused of fund-raising for jihadists.

Trump's "Beautiful Military Equipment" Tour Unites Theocratic Islam & Israel

One wouldn't have thought theocratic Islam & Israel needed any more uniting?
This is all about Iran. Very clearly.

NBC:
"One of the things that we will discuss is the purchase of lots of beautiful military equipment because nobody makes it like the United States," Trump said  "First that means jobs" he said, adding "it also means frankly great security back here which we want."
The beautiful military equipment tour for "frankly great security". The world according to Trump. While in Saudi Arabia Trump signed the ‘Largest Single Arms Deal in American History’
The United States and Saudi Arabia have inked a $110 billion arms deal, the largest in American history.
The arms deal will see the U.S. providing Saudi Arabia with a "full spectrum of capabilities," including tanks, artillery, helicopters, armored carriers, combat ships, and an assortment of other advanced weapons systems, according to senior Trump administration officials working on the agreement.
The massive arms package is part of a larger effort by the Trump administration to boost U.S. allies in the region
The immediate 110 billion dollar package is just the beginning of a ten year- 350 billion dollar spending spree that will serve to burden the Saudi people with debt!
US-Saudi Arabia seal weapons deal worth nearly $110 billion immediately, $350 billion over 10 years
The agreement, which is worth $350 billion over 10 years and $110 billion that will take effect immediately, was hailed by the White House as "a significant expansion of…[the] security relationship" between the two countries.
Link - 34,000 soldiers to "fight ISIS in Iraq and Syria"
Riyadh – The Arab-Islamic-US unveiled in Riyadh on Sunday a close partnership between the leaders of the Arab and Islamic worlds and the United States

The summit, chaired by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, brought together US President Donald Trump with the leaders and representatives of 55 Arab and Muslim countries, who all voiced a readiness to form a reserve of 34,000 soldiers to back counter-terrorism operations.

On the regional level, the gatherers at the Riyadh summit stressed the importance of good neighborly practices and avoiding meddling in the internal affairs of other countries. The sovereignty and independence of countries should be respected.

Defence Stocks Rise Across the Board as Trump Signs Massive Arms Deal in Advance of More War

 In Advance of MORE WAR..
Defense and aerospace stocks rose across the board in premarket trade Monday, after Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states signed arms deals worth $350 billion with the U.S. over the weekend.
  In Advance of MORE WAR..

President Donald Trump says Israel's Arab neighbors are realizing they share a "common cause" with Israel in the threat from Iran.

Trump is urging the U.S. and Israel to boost cooperation against common threats, and declaring the Iran never be allowed to have a nuclear weapon.

He says Iran - Israel's chief enemy in the Middle East - must also cease funding, training and supplying weapons to terrorist groups.

Said the pot to the kettle?

Trump: Israel, Arab neighbors share common cause
Trump & Saudi Stooge
On Tuesday, the last details were apparently hammered out between the U.A.E.’s crown prince, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and U.S. President Donald Trump in their meeting in Washington after Trump's earlier meeting with Mohammed bin Salman, the 31-year-old son of the Saudi king and the de facto ruler of the kingdom.

Defacto ruler? Catch that word use? - I've talked about the division in KSA previously and bin Salman is favoured by the US.

Israel and Islamic theocracy march hand in hand
– Racing the clock ahead of US President Donald Trump’s visit, Israel’s Knesset and government advanced the bill declaring its state once-and-for-all a Jewish nation.
The Knesset, or the Israeli parliament, had on May 10 given the preliminary approval to a bill draft proposed by the Likud party member and Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee chairman Avi Dichter.
Despite being given the initial green light, it needs to be debated by a parliamentary committee and voted on three more times in the plenum before it becomes part of the country’s so-called “basic laws”, which are similar to a constitution.
In and of itself, the bill calls for stark discrimination against Arab minorities, while paradoxically maintaining Israel’s alleged “democracy.”
The bill aside, Jewish fundamentalism is a reality in Israel and what Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the government are embarking on is to merely give Jewish fanaticism a legal definition. Shoring up Israel’s presence as a theocracy in the world.
Dichter’s bill not only encroaches on genuine rights of the original landowners, the Palestinians, but also announces Hebrew as the sole official language, devaluing Arabic from a primary language to merely holding “special status.”

The bill also confiscates the right of the Palestinian people to self-determination.
It stipulates that the right of self-determination is enjoyed only by Jews … A term at which one must stop and ask how can racism be more explicit than this?
This glows beyond the fog of politics– it is a fundamentalist narrative at its finest. Self-declared right to supremacy over others, and self-given right to deprive, isolate and eliminate counterparts cannot better define zealotry. Such a bill promotes legal preference in a push to erase their trace from both geography and history.
Israel the finest theocracy in the middle east- Undeniable as it is a nation created solely and only for followers of a specific religion.

Don't forget NATO meeting on the 25th

From earlier today!

No garden planting, yet. Sigh.

Still Waiting for that Anthropogenic Global Warming...

It's our traditional May 2/4 weekend- Get your 24 beers.Watch fireworks. Garden.
Also known as Victoria Day weekend
No gardening going on here.

The month of May is nearly over. Summer is just over 3 weeks away and we've had two, yes, two days of what I consider slightly warm temperatures for this time of year- 80 F or about 27- 28 C.
Two days for all of May- The rest of this month has been cold.Windy. Rainy. Below normal all month long.

Link: Short-lived summer in Ontario: Focus shifts to thunderstorms
Midsummer heat has been warmly welcomed across southern Ontario, with a two-day streak of temperatures surpassing 30 oC in some parts (not where I live)  of the region.
Yup, two days of warmth.
But cooler conditions are ahead, ( the whole month has been well below norm, except for two days)  along with a widespread risk of severe thunderstorms Thursday as the cold front moves through. Severe thunderstorm watches covered almost all of the south of the province in the afternoon, with some storms already sparking in areas further north in the early afternoon, and in most of the Greater Toronto Area by the late afternoon.
Looking to the end of May:
"Warmer than the first half of May, but no sustained 20 o+C weather in sight," Gillham says. "The pattern also becomes more unsettled again with next system of significance around Wednesday."
Here's hoping. Because May except for two days has been cold. 20 C = 68 Fahrenheit

How about the Atlantic Provinces- How about more snow?

50 cm of snow, more rain for Atlantic Canada long weekend

Sunday, May 21, 2017, 12:48 PM - The unofficial start of summer is here, but winter is still hanging on in Atlantic Canada.
Newfoundland in particular is the seeing the worst of it, with accumulating snow for northern parts of the island and Labrador, with rainfall elsewhere on the island. Though snowfall warnings were slowly dropping off Sunday, the system leaves behind very hefty totals, according to Environment Canada.
"Cartwright has reported snowfall amounts of 50 cm since Friday. Latest indications suggest another 5 cm can be expected before the snow tapers off tonight," the weather agency says.
Snow marking the kick off of summer in Newfoundland

Crops are weeks behind schedule, gardeners are waiting to plant until the sun comes out and winter jackets are still out in force.
On Monday, when temperatures reached 10.3 C, a new mark was set for the lowest May 15 daytime high, beating out the previous record of 10.6 C in 1965. That’s based on the temperature at the Victoria International Airport weather station, where Environment Canada has been collecting data since 1941.
On the bright side of things we got to see a whole pile of Kite Surfers at one of the local beaches. They were fully suited for the cold weather and high winds.  As we also were.
It was a very colourful display. Despite what had to be the cold temps of the Lake, which is now a secret,  no longer shared on a daily basis by Environment Canada.

And if someone can assist me in finding them I would love to know where they can be found?
I checked the marine forecast . They give you wind and waves. Water temperature used to be part of daily reporting..... but now it's secret. Same as historical temps. Secret.

The Doomsday Vault is NOT Flooded - AGW Cult Glossolalia

This is getting ridiculous- The constant overwrought dramatics. The claim of the flooded doomsday vault is more glossolalia , always accompanied by hysteria, that leaves the sane questioning, coherent thinker wanting something tangible. Something factual. Comprehensible. Something like, truth.

First  from the Guardian - Arctic Stronghold of Worlds Seeds Flood after Permafrost Melts
OMG the Doomsday Vault is DOOMED- Hysterical enough for you?
This type of spin follows a very predictable pattern of screaming headlines then later quiet clarifications- You can see this type of manipulation occur regularly and persistently regarding any and all concocted situations.  The flooded doomsday vault is a lie. I bring you the quiet clarification- Please make sure it gets some attention

LET'S GET REAL- The Doomsday Vault Isn't Flooded.....
But according to one of the vault’s creators, the reports are pretty overblown and everything’s fine.Well, the vault’s fine.
Cary Fowler, one of the creators of the vault:  “Flooding is probably not quite the right word to use in this case,” he told them. According to Fowler, a little bit of water has made its way into the entrance every year. Though he wasn’t present at the vault when the ‘flooding’ occurred this year, he insists that it’s a pretty routine occurrence.
The tunnel was never meant to be water tight at the front, because we didn’t think we would need that”-
Before you jump to a foolish conclusion about why they didn't need to make the tunnel entrance water tight, read on.
“Basically, there’s a 100-meter tunnel that serves as a walkway into the mountain and it goes downhill. Before you reach the vault doors, the ground shifts uphill. This little area allows water to collect and two pumps can evacuate it”
I'll repeat that little tidbit
"This little area allows water to collect and two pumps can evacuate it”

They planned for water removal via two pumps built in for just such a reason.  Knowing water would inevitably pool on a regular basis... which tells us they expected water to collect and they built in an ability for the water to be moved away
In fact, according to Fowler, if the water were to make it all the way uphill it would get hit with temperatures around minus 18 degrees celsius, freeze, and create a new barrier.
Minus 18 degrees celsius is plenty dam cold.( -0.4F ) In fact Fowler said if the water made it uphill it would freeze and create a barrier- Of course it would! Because it's very, very cold.

I've been busy the past couple of days and have left a bevy of posts for readers- Enjoy them

Must Watch Trudeau be A Pompous Arse- Worse then Harper

Note the arrogant smugness of Trudeau. I did NOT vote for this groomed stooge.
"Opposition force Canadian Crime Minister Justin Trudeau to humiliate himself by having to avoid the exact same question, in what has to be a world record, 18 TIMES!!! May 10, 2017. As the Speaker of the House said, it's up to Canadians to judge the quality of the answers, so please help spread this video for all Canadians to see because we can't depend on the CBC"
Fellow Canadians how are we liking Mr Trudeau so far?

World Jewish Values Network WaPo Ad: Trump, Bomb Syria!

When the crematorium news made the rounds earlier this week I noticed and stated..
"We're getting into Holocaust™ territory with this claim.
Reinforcing well known, well worn mind viruses"
flashback:  Assad's (Hitler) Crematorium Claims the US

Keep that specific spin in mind as you read the next item up for your perusal.
The Jews (self-identified) say"President Trump: When you're in Israel Next Week- You'll be 140 miles from the Syria Crematoria (that most likely doesn't exist) For the Love of God (WTF?) Bomb it Now.

Directly below is the ad placed in WaPo by this Jewish values organization.

Exactly what kind of values do these people have?

Link: PR WEB Releases
The World Values Network (WVN), an organization that aims to advance America’s standing through the dissemination of Jewish values in politics, culture, and media, posted a full-page advertisement in WaPo’s Friday, May 19th edition publicly challenging President Trump to bomb the functioning Syrian Crematoria.
It's  extremely highly unlikely this claimed crematoria exists- The evidence was circumstantial. ie: concocted. Making it very clear Jewish interests want Trump to bomb Syria- Period!
"Clearly delineated as an anti-genocide plan, the WVN stresses that this initiative is critical given Syria’s relevance and close proximity to the Jewish State.

The advertisement also directly publicized the WVN’s upcoming annual Champions of Jewish Values Awards Gala, which will take place this Sunday night, 21 May, 5pm, at Cipriani 42nd St. The event will pay special tribute to Holocaust survivor, renowned author, political activist, and Nobel Peace Laureate, Elie Wiesel, who recently passed away on the 2nd of July 2016.

The advertisement draws close comparison between the crematoria in Auschwitz 1944, and Syria 2017, and along with Wiesel’s personal relation to the Holocaust, the WVN urges President Trump to carry out what it sees as an obligatory humanitarian mission"
Pay attention to those they are honouring at their gala of despicableness.

World Values Network’s Discovery Chairman and CEO David Zaslav will be offering a special verbal and video tribute to Mr. Wiesel at the gala, and will introduce the evening’s Keynote Speaker, Elisha Wiesel, who will present the Elie Wiesel Award, which will be presented to Derek Black. Black is a former White Nationalist who, through the guidance and support of his Jewish friend, Matthew Stevenson, shifted his mindset to respect all people equally.

In the Jewish religion, the Kaddish (mourner's prayer) is recited for 11 months after a family member’s death. The last Kaddish for Elie Wiesel will be said by Elisha during a prayer service at the gala.

The gala will also feature many distinguished guests who, while coming from varying backgrounds and occupations, share a unified dedication and affinity for love towards the Jewish people, and all people in today’s world.

President of Rwanda Paul Kagame will be receiving the Dr. Miriam and Sheldon G. Adelson Award for Friendship with the Jewish People, presented by Dr. Mehmet Oz of the Dr. Oz TV Show.
Paul Kagame is a tyrant and mass murderer

Wife of Elie Weisel- Didn't Mr Weisel fabricate abundantly? Gilad Atzmon: Enough of Elie Wiesel
"Wiesel can also read Israeli Sever Plocker’s declaration that “some of (the) greatest murderers of modern times were Jewish.”  Just a few years after the Holodomor, the Yiddish speaking International Brigade murdered Catholics and burned their churches in Spain (1936)"
That's explains the honouring of Paul Kagame!

What should us non jews think of these so called Jewish values?
These values don't look so hot to me!
Honouring killers and liars and demanding nations be bombed. All for the benefit of Israel?
As if Israel doesn't have the blood of tens of thousands of Syrians already on it's hands already.
Chutzpah or what?
"The World Values Network will also honor Israel's Minister of Agriculture Uri Ariel, Israel’s Consul General of New York, Dani Dayan, Israel’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Danny Danon, Elie Wiesel's wife, Marion Wiesel, former Prime Minister of Spain, Jose Maria Aznar, American Hebrew Academy CEO Glenn Drew, and WVN Chairman Michael Fromm. Master of ceremonies will be Rabbi Shmuley Boteach.

The World Values Network has emerged as a seminal organization, whose relentless commitment to promoting Jewish values and advocating for a better future is deeply impactful. It has proven to be uniquely effective in carrying out its mission to instill universal Jewish values in modern politics and culture, as well as defend the State of Israel to the mainstream and international media. In conjunction with world leaders of every walk, it furthers these causes to worldwide audiences through media campaigns, debates, and lectures at venues across the globe"

World Values Network

Is that the pompous Bernard Henri Levy front and center?
Quotes from their site below:
"Mission is to disseminate universal Jewish values in politics, culture, and media, making the Jewish people a light unto the nations.
World Values Network is dedicated to disseminating the light of the Jewish people and promoting and defending the state of Israel as the supreme embodiment of a nation founded on these principles"
Seriously, is their mission some kind of sick cruel joke on the non jew?
What are their values if they honour liars, killers and demand President's to bomb other nations based on lies their partners in values, undoubtedly conjured.

Truth Exists; Only Lies Are invented.

From where I sit the crematorium lie was invented. It's a hoax.
There is no credible proof that it exists.

Apparently this is not a first for this group. Haaretz

Times Square Driver US Navy Vet who "heard voices"

Though the accused has two previous arrests for DWI?
I've been staying away from these incidents, however, drivers plowing over pedestrians is getting to be quite the repetitive occurrence- Just an observation.
Germany, France, Australia. Off the top of my head that's all I can recall, refresh my memory if there has been more? Toronto looks to be ripe for the picking..

The driver is ex military.
PTSD? Drunk Driving? Something else entirely? I don't know?
The thought of these self driving/ self parking, easily commandeered cars just keeps rolling over in my mind

Link- Car hacking is not the future, sorry to say, it's present day.

But what the pair discovered is that if the attacker’s message is sent first, with the correct counter, then the real message gets ignored. And if the next message is one further incremented, then the system never fully goes into lockdown, allowing the attacker to control the car: they can turn the steering wheel, hit the gas or slam on the brakes at any speed.
Hindustan Times

A man steered his car onto a sidewalk running through the heart of Times Square and mowed down pedestrians for three blocks Thursday, killing a teenager, then emerged from his wrecked vehicle wild-eyed and waving his arms before he was subdued by police and bystanders. The carnage raised immediate fears of a terrorist attack, but investigators quickly turned their focus to the sobriety and mental health of the driver, identified as Bronx resident Richard Rojas. The driver, a 26-year-old U.S. Navy veteran, told officers he was hearing voices and expected to die, according to two law enforcement officials. Rojas enlisted in the Navy in 2011 and was an electrician’s mate fireman apprentice. In 2012 he served aboard the U.S.S. Carney, a destroyer. He was most recently based at the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida, and was discharged in 2014.

US Led Coalition Confirms Strike on SAA and Allies

Outrageous! Trump the peacemaker? Never!
RT
The US forces in Syria have bombed a militia group fighting alongside the Syrian government forces in southern Syria on Thursday, the US-led coalition has confirmed.

The coalition said in a statement that the Syrian forces "posed a threat" to US and partner troops at Tanf base near the Syria-Iraq-Jordan border.
"This action was taken after apparent Russian attempts to dissuade Syrian pro-regime movement south towards At Tanf were unsuccessful, a coalition aircraft show of force, and the firing of warning shots," the statement said.
Having commented on the incident, the US Defense Secretary James Mattis said Washington was not deepening its role in the Syrian conflict, but would defend its troops.
Mattis lying through his teeth, of course. With every action the US takes they say their 'not increasing' their role.Who can take them seriously- All they've done is increase their role. Increase the instability. They instigated this whole stinkin' mess all to remake the region. Grr...

The Syrian forces allegedly entered a so-called "de-confliction" zone in the Homs Governorate, which was perceived as a threat to "US-allied troops." The militia forces allegedly clashed with the Pentagon-backed Maghawir Al-Thawra militant group (formerly known as New Syrian Army), which called in coalition air support.
We notified the coalition that we were being attacked by the Syrian army and Iranians in this point and the coalition came and destroyed the advancing convoy," Reuters cited a militant representative as saying.
US special forces have been present in the area "for many months" to train and advise Free Syrian Army fighters. Damascus considers such Washington's presence illegal in the country, as no official invitation has been extended to the US to conduct any military action on its territory.
A tank and a bulldozer were hit during the strike, AP reports, citing unnamed US defense officials. There have been unconfirmed reports of casualties on the Syrian side.

According to Al-Masdar News citing the Syrian military, the coalition warplane entered Syrian airspace from the Jordanian border. It reportedly hit a convoy of five tanks, destroying two of them.
Six military personnel were killed and another three injured, Al-Masdar News reported, citing the military.
The attack does not reflect an escalation in Syria, an unnamed senior US defense official told Fox News, claiming that "there is no change in policy" on Washington's side.
The attacked paramilitary group affiliated with the Syrian army has been given no warning ahead of the strike "in contradiction to what we've heard from the US sources," political commentator from Damascus, Alaa Ibrahim told RT, citing military sources in Syria.
"The area where the attack took place has been a scene of a hectic race between the Syrian army and groups affiliated with it and rebel groups backed by the US-led coalition. There have been reports that the US and Britain are preparing for some kind of land incursion," Ibrahim said.
This is not a situation that going to improve unless the US gets the hell out of Syria.
But clearly they are looking to escalate.
